Doc says no exercise for 1 week? what now?

So I have been losing fat and building muscle thanks to this site now I have an athletic physique though I never was serously over weight before.. I was able to do 1hr to 1hr 30 min of cardio a day. But I got stitches to fix where I got cut. The doctor says no exercise treadmill, swimming weights, etc so mainly a reason to be a couch potato for a week. I have a currently have an athletic look and I dont want to gain my flab back.

How should I change my diet I dont care how bad it tastes i mean its only a week. I have oatmeal, Kashi cereal, whole grain cereal, etc. What should my diet be?

I think you're over worrying a bit. I believe the week off will do your body more good than bad. I'm currently taking this week off(first time since February!) as I get ready to start BULKING on Saturday. It feels great to take a rest and kick my feet for a few days. Also, I was starting to feel fatigued... Now after a lazy week, I'm really raring to hit the gym on Saturday, so I know I'll be working harder than ever! Can't wait! I also used some of the free time to work on writing down plans for my bulking diet/new workout routine. I don't think you're going to gain much weight from taking a week off, either. If you're really concerned about it why not go for a walk outside for an hour a day to keep burning a few cals? Anyway, enjoy your rest.
 
Just eat clean - rather than sitting around drinking beer and eating peanut butter cups - and you'll be fine. I mean, you're probably only missing 3 or 4 workouts.
 
If you are really worried about it that much, I'm sure you could get away with some LISS (low intensity steady state) in the morning. If not, just stay active. It's only a week.
 
A week off often does you good, I took a week off and the whole time was hoping I wasn't losing ground on my training but when I hit the gym again this monday I was lifting more than ever.

If your doctor says rest then rest
 
Also no need to work out that long in the first place. Work harder and smarter, not longer.
