Sounds about right, the rest you put on will be body fat - you can control how much however by your diet and exercise, remember that you will probably want to cut after gaining a significant mass of fat, therefore reducing your body weight - the opposite that you want to do.On average, and if you have a good program backed up by good nutrition and intensity/frequency/consistency.....you could have 1-2 lbs. of muscle. This also includes water brought on during the hypertrophy process.
Gaining lean muscle and gaining weight are two different animals. Sure, anyone (nearly anyway) can gain 7-10 lbs in 3 weeks. Can you gain 7 lbs of straight muscle in 3 weeks? No.
