i was wondering if doing pushup burnouts(doin as many till failure like today i did 47,37,30,22 with around a 90 sec break) will help keep my chest strength. Such as doin 3 or 4 sets every other day. I have a full routine but i dont have a bench press till after christmas break. So will that keep my press around the same and possibly higher. Right now im around a 175 press and i want to be able to still do that in 2 months when i can press again.

You're obviously past stressing type II fiber, so you'll have a few options:

plyometric push-ups
Back pack with weight
hit the iron.
 
well i did the clap pushups and i can do around 20 so i think im past type II fiber
and i can only do half of a one hand pushup
what about doing this by doing sets by chaining hand positions throughout like changing every rep like wide,regular,clap,close then close,clap,regular,wide,..and so on. i tried and could barely do 15
