The End?

As stated in my other posts, I’m a well cut 20 year old male. My original workout goal was to look like God. I have been blessed with an 8 pack, a cut chest, strong back, broad shoulders, thick strong arms, and a decent lower body. I believe I’ve reached that point where if I get any bigger ill slowly transform into a bulky body builder. There is a time when you should stop, a professional body builder's strength is impressive but you look like a freak. I wanted to make this post for everyone to realize that 'working out' is not a continuous process. It might seem like 'forever' but then one day you will start to enjoy working out, and enjoy the results. Later in your life you shall look at a mirror, when you think to yourself “do I want to get any bigger” and “I’m already quite defined”. There’s nothing left to improve, and now it is time to quit. Don't worry about change in your life, it was this very thing that allowed you to transform that excuse for a body into something halfway decent. Enjoy yourself for a few years, and then hit the gym for a few months and you will get back anything and everything that was lost. I was already quite strong when I came to this forum, and it took the compliments of handfuls of women and even men, as well as a glance in a mirror to realize that Chris Cornell looks like me.

You are an arrogant fool...and the exact thing that most people here hate. You are taking your body for granted, and stopping now that you got the body that you want instead of maintaining it and keeping a healthy lifestyle. Also, health isn't just the appearance on the outside, and saying that you got the body of a god is about as conceited as you can get.

Well, since his lordship is leaving us, maybe you will have more time to go weight train with your dog. Good riddence.

total BS post.

if you quit working out, the body will adapt to the new lower level of activity, and get rid of most of the muscle mass you put on, because there's no evolutionary reason for humans to be muscle bound freaks.
It takes more rest, more food, more time to maintain muscle, so if you don't need it, the body just won't keep it.

A really, really useless post.

That may be the *crackin down on sexual preference references* thing I have ever read.

lol sorry stoutman! *mreik

No derwy, mreick has convinced me otherwise. My legs are only strong enough to push my 1970 dodge charger a quarter mile to a gas station (when the fuel gauge broke). For those of you who didn't know, my car was the same model used in the Dukes of Hazzard (minus the confederate flag). I'll often go on long rides and will usually be several miles away from a gas station. I've decided that I’ll keep training until i'm able to push my car 3 miles, thereby saving time and money waiting for a tow truck. In addition if I strengthen my lower body I’m sure the ladies will appreciate my rock hard glutes. Oh yeah.

surely if you stopped you would just lose the muscle. Unless you mean you'll still work out but only to maintain what you already have.
