Why?

my gym teacher saw me struggle and told me that i should eat more frequent but less in each time

he suggested i make a subway/sandwhich the size of my lunch and afterschool snack combined and cut it into 4, 1 chunk per period of school, even 6, 4 for school, 2 after school.

he says if i do this, i will slowly feel like i need to eat less, and its somehow supposed to be more healthy?
 
It allows your body more time to digest. This means you'll get more nutrients from your food, and thus, gain more muscle.
